    • Award: International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Australasia Core Values Award 2009, PP Innovation Category
      • Award presented: 22 October, 2009
      • Where: 2009 IAP2 Australasian Conference in Perth, Western Australia
      • Other information: IAP2 will also profile the winners on the IAP2 website and in a 2009 Best Practice publication which will be released in November 2009.
    • Award: IAP2 2009 Special Recognition Award
      • Award presented: 21 September, 2009
      • Where: Core Values award celebration at the IAP2 17th International Conference in San Diego, California
      • Other Information: In presenting the award, IAP2 Core Values judging panel chairman said, “The IAP2 Core Values awards are for projects which demonstrate the use of innovative techniques, sustainable solutions to problems that face the field of public participation, and the successful involvement of the public in new areas... We are very pleased to honour the extraordinary achievements of both the people who put together Australia’s first national Citizen’s Parliament and its participants.”
